Music Review: Oklahoma Karaoke

I love OKLAHOMA. This karaoke CD is alright. The only problem I have with it, my reason for giving it 3 stars is that, although most of the songs are fully orchestrated, two of the songs, are piano-only. My favorite song in OKLAHOMA is one of them, "Lonely Room". "The Farmer and Cowman" is also just piano. The vocal tracks are ok, but one doesn't buy a karaoke CD for the singers, unless it is to learn the song. Speaking of which, "Lonely Room", for some odd reason, is spoken not sung. So if you are trying to learn that song in particular, don't listen the vocal track on this karaoke CD. The rest of the songs, the tracks sound very nice. There is a new accompaniment CD for OKLAHOMA done by Stage Stars, a really amazing karaoke company that specialize in Broadway shows, that is coming out late December. I have listened to 30 second clips of the songs, and they sound awesome!!!
