Music Review: Terrific!!

The Bird and the Bee, two true original artists who truly care about the art of the music itself. They have a clear direction; Burt Bacharach like melodies with quirky and sweet lyrics with a bit of a modern edge. It's the 60's updated. Every song on this album is well crafted with attention to detail and a dreamy sensibility. "My Love" is beautiful with an ethereal melody backed by claps and stomps. Brilliant! "Diamond Dave" is like a catchy Billy Joel song dedicated to singer Irina George's love of the Van Halen lead singer. "Your a Cad" has a 20's ragtime feel with clever and cute lyrics about a, well, cad.
The Bird and the Bee write clever, lovable, and lasting tunes that is meant for a more intellectual listener. A definite buy.
