Music Review: classic woody

This is a great intro to one of the most influential men in American music history. Hang Knot and Pretty Boy Floyd are big highlights. Recommended to anyone interested in folk roots, or any Dylan fans, as Woody was a huge influence on him early in his career (witness "Song to Woody" on his self-titled debut).

This document of Guthrie's dedication to working class Americans, recorded in the '40s with Cisco Houston and Sonny Terry, contains gritty classics like 1913 Massacre and Pretty Boy Floyd.
