Music Review: Great Introduction to a Less-Famous Russian Master

I was not very familiar with Kogan before purchasing this set. Now I definitely have an appreciation for his art! The only reason I gave the collection 4 stars instead of 5 is that the cds are programmed very poorly; pieces are put onto the discs with no particular rhyme or reason and it does interfere with your enjoyment of the material to some degree. Of course most of us have cd players that can be programmed nowadays so at least you can get around that problem.
