Music Review: Beautiful Christmas worship music! I love it!!!

Unlike the previous reviewer, I celebrate Christmas both as the sacred holiday celebrating the birth of Christ and the primarily secular holiday it is for many people. I also love Christmas and holiday music in a wide variety of styles and content and listen to it from the day after Thanksgiving until New Years Day (at least).
This CD is different from anything else I have in my collection, even the ones produced by other contemporary Christian music performers. The difference is that this CD has none of the traditional Christmas songs on it -- it is worship music that is centered on the Christmas season. This music is beautiful and helps me stop and remember the real reason we celebrate Christmas.
A couple of the songs are a couple years older and more familiar. The first song is a Christmas version of Paul Baloche's song "Offering" with a beautiful verse about the angels singing to the shepherds and the wise men travelling to follow the star and the last one is Paul Baloche's "We Adore you." In between are new songs that are certain to become classic Christmas worship songs.
Who should buy this CD? Every music worship leader who does a contemporary service at his/her church should learn these songs and teach them to the congregation. I intend to email a link to my own worship leader and ask that we start singing them. And every Christian family that enjoys contemporary Christian music (even if you are not familiar with the featured musicians Paul Baloche, Kari Jobe, Lincon Brewster, Glenn Packiam, Christy Johnson, Vicky Beeching, Joel Auge, Don Poythress and Jared Anderson) would find listening to this CD a wonderful blessing throughout the Christmas season and beyond. Because these songs are not the usual Christmas songs, you could play many of them all year long.
