Music Review: Just wonderful
Rating: 5 Stars
Of course this collection isn't for everyone, but for those of us who get a thrill out of the authentically other, this is just not to be missed. There is Daniel Johnston at his haunting young best, the inimitable Wesley Willis gettin' down about McDonalds, and the divine Tiny Tim, singing a duet with his last wife. Perhaps best of all, there is Eilert Pilarn's rendition of 'Jailhouse Rock', probably the funniest single recording I have ever heard. You should of course also read the rather fine book of the same title.
