Music Review: Classic & Uplifting

This time period in music was truly beautiful and original. I love the glow in these haunting voices and the flow to these tales they sing of. It's very listenable but this album functions great as background music too. Trendy folks are going to want to avoid it like the plague, but they are just the boogie woogie bugle boy from company B as far as I'm concerned, anyways. Have a happy Holiday season.

They may have rationed meat, milk, canned goods, and gasoline, but there was no limit to the musical talent during World War II. Morale-boosting sounds on the home front and "over there" were one of the Allies' most potent weapons. WWII gave birth to many of the 1940s' most popular artists and songs, as well as many of the most important independent record labels.
