Music Review: A must for bellydancers and Egyptian music enthusiasts
Rating: 5 Stars
This is the best of the Raks Sharqi series. Lots of variety, excellent sound quality, and informative liner notes. The CD includes several very usable finales and drum solos that I use regularly, for improv and choreography. Superb arrangements that are technically and aesthetically brilliant. Notable: "Ya Amarti" and "Rakiya's Tabla". Includes many well-known compositions for stars of the Egyptian dance world. I can't recommend this one enough, as a dancer and as an instructor!
