Music Review: THIS IS TONY ORLANDO AND DAWN at their FINEST!

I have ALWAYS Loved this group, and I have ALWAYS LOVED this set since I have first heard it as a child! And there are a few songs that have NEVER EVER left my heart ever since! I have yearned and yearned for this music since those days too! And then I find them here released on a cd! And THIS cd has bonuses included! I remember hearing 'Steppin' Out' being sung a certain way, with certain vocal inclusions that I have not heard SINCE! In the compilation of this cd set, they have included the single version of the song as a bonus! And it IS the things that my heart's ear has been longing to hear! To me, it alone is worth the whole set! "If It Wasn't For You" is another of the songs that had made such an impact on me that I was moved to tears often when it would play in my head! So, to have it now in hard copy, I'm in music heaven! Not to mention the way the voices of Joyce and Pam Vincent, and Telma Hopkins blend is NONE LESS than SUPREME! And I don't use that term frivolously!
Their voices are pure MAGIC, and the ultimate compliment to Tony Orlando!
And they are ringing clear on tunes like "Jolie", another added bonus, as well as the classic, "Strawberry Patch", and "Sweet Gypsy Rose" and just SO MUCH MORE ear candy! I AM like a kid locked in a candy store after hours! This is GOOD PLEASANT MUSIC!!!! GOOD-TIME!

This release was a concept album that successfully combined ragtime and pop music. With multi-generational appeal, DAWN'S NEW RAGTIME FOLLIES sold millions and became Tony Orlando & Dawn's best selling LP.
