Music Review: Toad's Finest

This was the first CD I ever bought (my parents were slow to come around the compact disc when I was growing up). If I had never bought another, this album would have been enough. To this day, nothing I have ever heard matches the ethereal feeling of "Butterflies," and I can't name another album that flows so well track-to-track. These are all Toad songs, but more than any other album, the music is written to compliment Glen's voice, from the whispers of "I Will Not Take These Things For Granted" to the growl of "Before You Were Born" (ok, so it's not a growl, did Glen ever really growl?). Whenever someone asks what 5 albums I'd want on a deserted island, this is the first one I think of. Every music fan should own it.
