Music Review: Who are these jokers? And why don't they rap or sing about being dumped!

I was looking at my collection of great classic rock bands and felt like I could use a few more cds to through in the bunch. After listening to good classic rock bands like The Hives, The Darkness, Jet, The Vines, Green Day, and Offspring.. I figured I could check out 'The Who', they are always on the boring rock station near my house that plays junk like Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Boston, etc... So I kinda figured i wasn't going to like them from the start; BOY WAS I RIGHT! The Who did not attempt to rap nor sing songs about slicing wrists or your girlfriend leaving you! I was even ashamed that I bothered looking these losers up!
For good music with lyrics that matter check out:
Ricki Martin, Slipknot, Murderdolls, WHAM!, George Michael, Milli Vanilli, Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer, New Metallica, Atreyu, and Korn.
For good classic rock just stick with Green Day, 3 Doors Down, The Darkness, Coldplay, and RadioHead.

And while this reviewer wishes different songs were chosen from Tommy, and more than one tune was gathered from their arguably finest (and definitely silliest) album, The Who Sell Out, this record really isn't for fans (aside from the total trainspotter types) but for newcomers. --Mike McGonigal
