Music Review: Messed With By Amazon

Amazon had this album on sale for .99 on December 5, 2008. So I started the downloads, which were showing successful, and walked away from my system. I was not able to listen to the files until December 6, but when I went in to listen to them, all I had were 12 .tmp files. When I attempted to download them again using the Amazon MP3 Downloader program, each file would error saying "Download no longer available. Please contact customer service." Well, I contacted customer service and got the run around from them. First the lady tried to argue with me that there was only one song, not the album. Then she said that the files were no longer available and that she would give me a refund. She also said that I should try again later. WHAT???? If the files aren't available now, why would they be available later???? Oh yeah, later the album is available for $5.99 rather than the special price of $.99 that I had already paid. I get it!! A modification of the old bait and switch tactic. You can't have it at the lower price, but you can if you pay us more. Thanks Amazon!!! This is way I only download the free files from Amazon and pay for ones I really want on other MP3 download sites.....
