Music Review: The Family - Best of the Spin-off bands

This is a gem of a spin-off, "The Family" did not get the due they were owed. Neither did Tamara and the Seen for that matter, but here are some classic gems for you Prince fans. This is a complete Lp. From the beginning to the end this LP is jazzy, funky, and hypnotic. Suzanna's Pajamas is so smooth, "Nothing Compares to You" is the best version anyone has done so far. There is also the "Screeams of Passion", and "Desire". These two jams alone are worth the price of the Disc. St. Paul, and Eric Leeds are in rare form here, and so is "Jelly Beans" Johnson, and the rest of the Family. So buy the LP, and someone hurry up and re-master this cd, and include their other unreleased music as well, there is more than this LP in the archives, haul it out get it on CD format Please!!!
