Music Review: Wonderful live, wonderful later

Many years ago I saw the Boys of the Lough live with my father. We'd never before bought recordings at a performance and felt guilty purchasing this and another (The Fair Hills of Ireland). But, boy, were they worth it. The Boys of the Lough can be alternately toe-tapping and haunting, always technically impressive, and most of all, charming. These songs linger.
