From their roots until your listening to music from their offshoots, The Allman Brothers Dreams is a chronological dive into a deep dream. On one track you feel as
if you are having a conversation with Duane Allman as he is introducing an obscure
live cut. In fact, the live tracks would constitute the makings of a concert you
would never be able to forget. And live is where the Allman Brothers belong if you
are going to hear them at their best. The rest of the tracks are like an enyclopedia of the bands first 30 years. Its hard to think of anything that was left
off. Dreams truly is more then I asked for.

This four-CD celebration offers an incredibly comprehensive look at the Allman Brothers, adding early demos, rare live recordings, alternate takes, outtakes, remixes, and solo efforts to the already powerful "official" catalog. Their progression from '60s Invasion-style rockers to blues cover band with a taste for B.B.
