Music Review: It grew on me
Rating: 4 Stars
When I first heard this, I liked it, but did not think it exceptional. But over time it has become one of my very favorite discs. The interpretation of the songs is very sensitive, understated and restrained. The accompianist is subtle and completely in synch with the singer. I have heard many other interpretations of RVW's folk song settings, but this is my favorite. I highly recomend it.
