"To call Harry Warren an unsung talent is both absolutely accurate and a wild mis-statement. Let me try to explain that apparent contradiction in terms. Mr. Warren has written more hits (a large number of which have become standards) than any other composer except Irving Berlin and there can hardly be a minute when one of his songs is not being sung somewhere in the world. And yet - everyone has heard of Irving Berlin - who knows of Harry Warren?
