Music Review: I am in love with this band...

I absolute ADORE storyoftheyear. I bought this cd the second it came out. I love these guys so much that I've seen them 3 times in the past 9 months...and all of them have been out of state cause NOBODY comes here. Im about to go to Chicago just to see the Nintendo Fusion Tour (storyoftheyear's own headline tour with Letter Kills, My Chemical Romance, lostprophets, and AnBerlin and Autopilot Off) www.nintendofusiontour.com check that site out. This is the best band I've ever seen perform..also the NICEST guys ever.

And The Hero Will Drown - 11/10 personally, one of my favorite songs of all time. Dan screams a lot...and his screams are hott. Beautiful. whatever. I love it. One of the harder songs, probably the hardest

Until the Day I Die - 10/10 this would definately be their "sing along" songs. and NO its not about death...haha.. its actually about love. Its catchy and fun. I love it.
"Should I bite my tongue until blood soaks my shirt, we'll never fall apart, so tell me why this hurts so much, My hands are at your throat and I think I hate you, but still we'll say remember when just like we always do, Until the day I die, I'll spill my heart for you"
Anthem Of Our Dying Day - 10/10 Ryan P. actually wrote this song. He says it's about Ghosts. It's wonderful! The video was great as well.

In the Shadows - 10/10 Awesome song! Definately their best performance song. It's always the very last song they play...good way to end the concert. They go insane. The song is fabulous. Harder..Dan screams quite a bit... Great song
"We both take the hardest punches and collect black eyes just prove it, still we pass by just like strangers and we speak just like the closest enemies...enemy"
Dive Right In - 10/10 I love this song as well. It makes you think. Dan's vocals are absolutely breathtaking. This boy can sing. The lyrics are as someone else put "something you dont want to hear but love hearing at the same time."
"So here I go, I'll dive right in, Break through the waves, straight to the ocean floor, and althought my hands are shaking, I lie perfectly still cause I'm determined to let myself sink down, and I know I'm buried too far down to feel the warmth from the sun again."
Swallow The Knife - 10/10 Great song... It's a "darker" song. Great lyrics. Great Vocals. Great guitars. Great everything.
"So swallow the knife, carve the way for your pride, now our hands are tied, the problems lie within, so we pray for night to start over again, words are spoken, words are broken down..so lets make this night be our best mistake, so lets take the time to wipe the blood away"
Burning Years - 9/10 I guess this is my least favorite song on there...even though I still love it.. Hmmm. It's great.
"From this house of our friendship, shut the door and light the match, throw behind you, walk away, these ashes.....burn"
Page Avenue - 10/10 I love this song as well. I can't get enough of Dan's voice. I absolute love Ryan, Phil,Adam and Josh, theyre fkn great..but Dan's my favorite..not because he's the singer. I've met them all and he was the one who made the most effort to get close to his fans. anyways.. Great song!
"I had something better waiting ahead, I try to take control of my heart, I had something better, but I'll tear it down and I'll tape it up, by my own design I fall..."
Sidewalks - 11/10 OMG I love this song so much. Dan said it was their next single, due out this fall. I'm almost afraid it will be like "the reason" for hoobastank...(they get UBER famous and all that stuff...not that i dont want them to be famous..i just dont want them to be on TRL and all that jazz cuz i HATE MTV)but WONDERFULL SONG.. its slow..and beautiful.. its about missing home. :( and i have to say...one of my faves.

Divide and Conquer - 10/10 awesome song. I love singing to it.
"Does this shadow live forever?, will this graveyeard be the dance floor for these corpses, will they be the first to fall and dance the night away? Why do we do this to ourselves, we're buying every word they sell"
Razorblades - 10/10 i love this song.. SOTY says they "absolute HATE it" but oh well. Haha.. It's a remake of Storyoftheyear's old band: BigBlueMonkey's song, "razorblades and cupcakes". I think its great though. anyways...
"Yeah, Yeah, walking example of you, just wait for the silence, talking backwards to you, it meant nothing to me, watching the world fall on you, Im keeping my eyes closed, now I can see what this means to you, it meant nothing to me"
Falling Down - 10/10 Awesome fast song. At warped tour this year, Dan ran back and started playing the drums and Josh (drummer) started playing guitar and Letter Kills's Front man, Matt Shelton ran on stage and started screaming where Dan left off.. It was INSANE!
