Music Review: Ancient relaxation secrets delivered in a glorious form

Steven Halpern, the creator of this masterpiece has started to compose music that he literally dreamt up since the early seventies. He has said to believe that this music has extraordinary psycho-acoustic effect on the listener and it helps balance the inner elements that make up the walking miracle, the human.
Each composition sound like little tubular bells and electric waves that resonate with passion and soft pulsating quality, this entire album is great to put on especially before bedtime or when I relax with a good book. If I had to get a massage while listening to this, I would probably fall asleep drooling from happiness. I have almost all of Halpern's cds and I cannot recommend his entire collection enough, for those who want to find similar artists I would recommend Kitaro, Enya, Enigma, Jean Michel Jarre ( amazing electronica music master) Yanni, Aeoliah, Deuter, Osho and Sound Effects just to name a few. This music is a real breath of pure celestial bliss and is a great choice for insomniacs!
For example the track Sonic Satori has psycho-acoustic technology that engages incredible effects on brainwaves. Halpern has said that he composed Sonic Satori in the frequency of the earth itself - which is about 8 cycles per second. He also advises how to run a simple stress test based on how it alters the perception of time; upon turning the music and listening, if the time between songs seems very long it means that the person is stressed. If you don't notice any space between songs means that you are also stressed. If the timing between songs is perfectly attuned to the relaxing breath of a fined tuned chakra, then the stress is minimal.
I find all the pieces on this cd to be relaxing, powdery and light, always with a twinkle light quality that reminds me of staring at deep space through my telescope. I love the stars and the magnetic and calming effect looking at them provides against the navy black backdrop of the sky. I always feel as if the blackness is velvet and the sparkles reaching down from heavens are plucked straight out of this cd.
The music is beautiful, soft and sounds enigmatic yet powerful, if I could pick a soundtrack that could play while I travel into space, this would be blasting off my speakers. I cannot imagine that this music would not calm even the biggest worry wart, for I love to put it on, make my room cool and dark, and sit on the carpet with my legs tucked under me yoga style and breathe in the music, breathing out the stress. It leaves me feeling like a wispy father and my heart feels lighter and happier.
