This CD is a winner! Steve Martin proves he is multi-talented. Not only is he one of the funniest comics on the planet and a darned good actor, but he can pick a mean banjo. The songs on the CD are all upbeat and the urge to tap your toes is irresistable. It's definitely a mood lifter!Music Review: Interesting

I 've only listened to the CD once but I liked it. However, I don't think many people buy CDs with just banjo music. One thing I noticed is that some of the numbers seemed to sound a little Irish. I guess this was due to the backup instrumentation. In any case I will listen to it again.Music Review: Who knew I'd like banjo music?

I purchased this CD after seeing Steve Martin and the Step Canyon Rangers on Austin City Limits. It's fantastic and worth every cent. Steve Martin is truely a gifted musician and song writer. I saw Steve Martin and the band play one of the songs off this CD on the Ellen Degeneres Show. I loved the snappy swing sound of the music. It reminded me of songs my grandmother use to play for use on the piano. I enjoy the whole CD and wish I could play the banjo.Music Review: The Crow . Steve Martin

An excellent variety of songs and music from a master with the assistance of other great artists. If you like banjo music clawhammer and 3 finger styles, you will appreciate and anjoy this recording. It will remain one of my 2 or 3 alltime favorites.
