Music Review: A Must Have--Even if it's in Japanese!

I got the Kingdom Hearts II soundtrack for my birthday along with the new game and the guide book and I have been listening to it non-stop. It has abolutely amazing pieces, from the breath-taking remix of "Dearly Beloved", to the up-beat Japanese version of "Sanctuary" (called "Passion") by Utada Hikaru. I love every track on this CD.
The old tunes are back, and are remixed somewhat. The new mix of "Hollow Bastion" is much lighter, but the battle theme, "Scherzo Di Notte" sounds nearly the same. "Kairi's Theme" is back as well as "This is Halloween", "A Day in Agrabah", and "Olympus Colliseum". We also get new themes such as "Riku's Theme" and "Roxas' Theme" two of my personal favorites.
The only so-called problem with this CD is that the themes "Passion", "Swim This Way", "Part of Your World", "Under the Sea", "Ursula's Revenge", and "A New Day is Dawning" are all in Japanese. I still encourage you to buy the Kingdom Hearts II sound track--ESPECIALLY since it is in Japanese. The original Japanese of "Swim this Way" sounds much better than the english, and "Passion" is absolultely incredible compared to the english, "Sanctuary". Sora's voice in Japanese for "Under the Sea" is very good too, and as cute as always. Though, I would have liked to have this one in English, I admit, after playing through Atlantica in the game.
All in all, it is a WONDERFUL soundtrack and a must have, even if it is in Japanese. Go buy it!
