Music Review: Great, honest music

I'm an exchange student from the Netherlands who's living in Pensacola, Florida (aka South Alabama). I had the privilege of seeing these guys live at Seville Quarter, a big local bar/club. I didn't knew them before but I was immediately drawn to them when I saw and hear them play. It's a really great blend of county, southern rock and blues.
They are all really cool guys and we hung out during their break and after their show. I play guitar myself and when I told them, Jim (the lead singer/guitar) invited me to get on stage and play a couple of songs with them. The most memorable one for me was "Red House". It was pretty damn awesome to play with these talented guys. They are really, really good.
Jim gave me this CD and I turned it on in my car on the way home right away. I was driving in my car on that huge, empty highway in the middle of the night; as I saw the lights flashing by and the road sliding underneath me. I don't know about you guys, but driving on an empty highway on my own always puts me in a thinking state and usually I get a little bummed out when I go home alone after a night out. But hearing the first song ringing through the speakers and realizing how good it was, put a big smile on my face right away. It was all good, and it all made sense. Suddenly I realized I couldn't be happier. That's what good music can do to you, it makes you find your best self again.
Check this out, seriously. These guys are the real deal.
