Music Reviews of Put the O Back in Country

Music Review: Hoss,This is great stuff!
Rating: 5 Stars

I really like this CD,this is country rock at its best,Shooter doesnt try to imitate his famous dad Waylons'voice or mannerisms but you can feel the drive and energy that Waylon did, Shooters own style adds to this great CD,It reminded me alot of The Eagles music, and of Lynrd Skynrd and early Hank Jr. You can feel that Shooter has lived alot of what he sings about, and thats what makes him a great Singer! Get this Outlaw Country Rocker!!

Music Review: Hank Williams III put the "O" back in country a few years back
Rating: 1 Stars

To all the reviewers who claim this to be the real deal, or the most refreshing, real country CD in a long, long time, have completely overlooked Hank Williams III. Call Shooter a baby Waylon, whatever,I call him bandwagon. This CD is like listening to paint dry. Hank III is playin real country like his grand-dad did 50 something years ago. Pick up Lovesick Broke & Driftin'by III or better yet, Straight to Hell and have a nice day.

Music Review: Shooter Kicks It Into High Gear!!!
Rating: 5 Stars

I have agreed with all the reviews except no one mentioned, in my opinion, the best song on the CD, Steady At The Wheel. To all those who wrote reviews, what do you think of this song? The whole album is great, Steady At The Wheel,4th of July, Daddy's Farm, and Southern Comfort are my favorites. Just to let everyone know, I'm not a huge fan of Waylon Jennings but his son is awesome. Keep that rebel southern rock coming, Shooter.

Music Review: Gotta Love Those Outlaws....
Rating: 5 Stars

My friend had this CD and played it as we were driving across Kansas...I never knew Kansas could be that fun. I made her skip the parts with George Jones, of course, but otherwise, it's a rare CD in the fact that every song was worth listening to--and more than once. And of course, who doesn't want to sing along with "4th of July" as loud as they can with the windows down? Shooter can definitely stand on his own two feet.

Music Review: Shooter put's the O back alright!
Rating: 5 Stars

I reccomend this album for anybody who likes a lot of classic and "outlaw" country and Southern Rock. This is like Lynyrd Skynyrd meets Waylon Jennings, though you can only tell a hint of his Daddy's influence. This whole album is good. But IF I had to choose just a few songs that are "highlights" I'd have to go with..."4th of July," "Lonesome Blues," "Sweet Savanah," "Solid Country Gold," and "Southern Comfort."
