Music Review: Does Not Feel Sincere

The material on this CD is good however, the singer, Judy, is not at all convincing. The vocal performance feels stiff, forced and not very sincere. I will give her an A for effort but this sounds like an opera singer who is singing for adults and looking down upon children. There is nothing friendly about her approach except for her good choice of songs. I think Judy Caplan Ginsburgh would make a good record maker for someone who could sing these songs in a tender like way. As I said, she should get an A for effort because she has chosen good songs, though she is not the one who should sing them.
