Music Review: another must of Richter's interpretations

Weber's piano music seldom appears in concerts halls...too difficult maybe. When I heard Richter's playing of Weber's Third sonata I was overwhelmed by this playing of Richter's at his best.I listened to it many times with as much delightness .

Richter's Brahms might seem odd at first hearing because it does not compare at all with other pianists' view.But after the hearing you realize it is genuine interpretation.

Prokofiev's 6th sonata is to me THE piano sonata of the 20th century.It is a full stop to piano sonatas after which nothing has been created equally strong:it had to be perfectly played. Lucky we have Richter for that task! Notice the public is fully silent from begin to end during that recital....
