Music Review: One of my all-time favourite albums!!!

I first heard Gravity on Last.fm, and I couldn't stop listening to it! This whole album is so stunning, I'm speechless!
I listened through the whole album through, and was like, "this is not bad, but not my favourite". Boy did this album grow on me! I listened to it a couple more times, and then was like, "my gosh! it's terrific!". Listened to it another couple times, and it became my all-time favourite CD!
Every single song on this album is a masterpiece. There isn't one bad song. I sing my heart out with these, I get chills, I laugh, I cry, it moves me Bob. It's just... Amazing!!!
1) Love Song. This song is a new classic. I love the piano pounding out those awesome chords! Amazing lyrics. It really shows the difficulty of being in the music industry, and what the record labels demand. The music video is brilliant, too! You must read the story behind this song. It's hysterical!
2) Vegas. Another great one. This probably gets a 4.5 from me, but it's still great. Catchy tune.
3) Bottle It Up. This one is super catchy, and her voice sounds awesome in it! I love to play this one on the piano. Her run-on sentences throughout her songs give them a great dynamic.
4) One Sweet Love. This one has a nice bright, happier sound to it, and a slightly different style. One of the lines sounds like one from Sarah McLachlan. A great song.
5) Come Round Soon. One of my faves on the album! I love the first line: "I could use another cigarette. But don't worry daddy, I'm not addicted yet." This song is a gem. Her lyrical power is divine. This song makes me get mad at the guy, makes me feel her despair, and everything. It's chilling.
6) Morningside. A great up-beat song that is a bit of fresh air after the emotional, depressing "Come Round Soon". It kinda makes you jump up and start dancing :D
7) Between The Lines. What can I say? I love it! I get chills every time I listen to it. Another one of my favourites to play on the piano.
8) Love On The Rocks. A nice contrast to the slower "Between The Lines". It make me want a drink ;)
9) City. OMYGOSH!!!!! This one is my favourite, but then again all her songs are terrific, so I don't have favourites! This reminds me of "Piano Man" by Billy Joel, but this one's more emotional. "Piano Man" is just plain depressing, but this song really makes you feel the emptiness and loneliness of what she goes through. Another one of my favourites to play on the piano. It's just a masterpiece!
10) Many The Miles. This is a nice up-beat, happy contrast to "City", but for some reason it's not one of my favourites. It's a great song, nonetheless.
11) Fairytale. I LOL every time I hear this song! Brilliant piano, great vocals. She truly has an angelic voice! This song is so fun and up-beat. I love playing this one on the piano (although quite difficult to play just right).
12) Gravity. The all-amazing, forever-lasting Gravity. I get chills just thinking about the song! The title fits the song just right, but I don't think she says "gravity" once in the song. The lyrics are inspired. It's as if she's singing a piece of her heart.
This album will always be on my iPod. It's a true work of art. I have a digital version, but I'll buy a hard copy soon, which means a lot since I don't have hard copies. Now as soon as I have money I'm going to buy Kaleidoscope Heart!!!
Description of Little Voice
Brilliant 12 trk debut album on Columbia & features the massive hit "Love Song". Both single & album have been Top 5 in the US. Produced by Eric Rosse (Tori Amos) & features 3 more hit singles.For many listeners, Little Voice will be their first exposure to this soulful singer/songwriter, but it's actually Sara Bareilles' second record. Her first, the self-released Careful Confessions, led to a deal with Epic. Since then, Bareilles has opened for Marc Broussard and Maroon 5. She's also become a bonafide soundtrack queen with tracks featured in female-centric films Girl Play, Loving Annabelle, and Monster-in-Law. As with her out-of-print debut, the UCLA grad wrote every song on her first major label recording (Little Voice features re-worked versions of several demo numbers). Like the portrait on the back of the CD--Bareilles in strappy black dress and lace-free high-tops--the piano-playing chanteuse combines the sweet with the scruffy. While her jazzy pop melodies are radio-ready, her relationship-oriented lyrics can be unexpectedly salty ("Bottle Up" and "Come Round Soon" wouldn't pass FCC muster). A little profanity here and there, however, doesn't indicate tough-girl attitude--Amy Winehouse can rest easy--so much as a desire to express herself freely. As Bareilles explains in "Love Song," "I'm trying to let you hear me as I am." (Not surprisingly, her degree is in communications.)
