If you like Sam Cooke you will love this CD. It is packed full of Sam Cooke classics and a few odd tracks. This is one of those CD's you can listen to from start to finish without skipping tracks (some of that has to do with the fact it's a compilation). 30 songs are on this including by not limited to: Cupid, chain gang, sugar dumpling, twistin the night away, only sixteen, and you send me. Just writing about it makes me want to jump out of my seat and put it in the CD player. This is a good purchase for anyone who does not own a Sam Cooke CD. This is a great place to start.Music Review: More than you need

I didn't enjoy this Cd the first time that I listened to it because I was just wanting to hear Cooke's hits, and there is so much more in this collection. I really enjoyed it the second and the third times because I knew what I was going to get, and I enjoyed developing my interest in all that Sam Cooke could do. I think that I would enjoy listening to this more if all the Gospel was in one section and all of the pop in another and R&B in another. I will definitely use my CD player selection programmer so that I will get one I am looking for and not everything else.Music Review: OH ANY SAM COOKE COLLECTION IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!!!

it's sam cooke!!!!! come on now!!!!! this collection is stellar. i heard it at barnes and noble and i wanted to listen to it again. my favorites are CUPID, WIN YOUR LOVE FOR ME, BRING IT ON HOME TO ME (forget the remakes!!!!!), TWISTIN' THE NIGHT AWAY, EVERYBODY LIKES TO CHA CHA CHA, and of couse, A CHANGE IS GONNA COME (forget the remakes again!!!!!). he is another one that died too soon. i really wish he would've made a better choice. i wonder what he would've done in the 70s and early 80s myself. get this, it's ESSENTIAL!!!!Music Review: A legend in his own right

This is a great cd to own.I loved all the songs. Sam Cooke has a great voice and he was one of the greatlegendary singer of his time. His voice captivate you and his storytelling is wonderful through out most of the songs. I love his voice and I have not heard anyone that came close to duplicating his voice. He is great songwriter as well. The songs are very romantic. I just love to listen to his voice. "A change is gonna come" is so realistic and heartfelt song. I wish he could been around to witness this change in the world.Music Review: I would highly recommend this one!

Loved it! It had all of the great songs on there, and is well worth the money. Actually, it's probably not enough money that I paid for the large, inclusive collection of hits by Sam Cooke! This CD is wonderful. I highly recommend it for anyone who is a huge Sam Cooke fan. All original songs. Great sound quality. Includes all of the hits - and not just a few hits and a lot of other stuff that was never a hit. Very good collection. Whoever put this together did a great job.
