Music Review: Awesome, but needs just a bit more new stuff

Salvador - The name brings up images and sounds that instantly make you want to just get up and groove! The CD is about what I expected, with a few surprises thrown in. Tracks 3 ('La Palabra') and 5 ('Corazon De Oro') truly are jewels, as well as a few others. However, the latter half of the CD are Spanish remakes of their older songs, which is not bad, but I wanted more new stuff. To be fair, this CD did start out as a Spanish-language conversion of their English-language songs, so I guess it was to be expected. Still, that took off a star.All in all, I was very pleased with this CD. It's rare nowadays to get a CD where all of the tracks are honestly good. Their technical performance is awesome, and this one will be in my car CD player for quite some time. ;)
