Music Review: Crunchy.

After loving the bands more recient material they really grew on me. So, Instead of waiting on followups I chose to explore one of the older albums instead.

"Kiss & Tell" is a hot mess in some ways. Andersson (The lead) sings like she has a huge lump on her tongue, can you imagine trying to sing with a "huge lump on your tongue?".

I can only hang in there so long before it gets to be too much. I begin squinting my eyes and gritting my teeth.

There seems to be few good songs though. Like "Stupid Tricks", "Stay or Stay Away", "Keep Calling Me Baby", "Hangin'", "The Difference Between Love And Hell" and "Empty Heart" they're all cute songs.

"Walk On the Wire", "Nerves", and "Hot Night Crash" are the tracks that show wilder side to the record. "Who Do You Dance For?" and "Mind Over Matter" are milder than the others and seem to be the most listenable.

"Kiss & Tell" is not as good of an album as the later ones, I can hear lots of improvement in the vocals and how the band plays on the later albums. Ya' have to start somewhere. IMO this album would have to grow on anyone who loves the later Albums. The Vocals really tend to frustrate me at times, It sounds like something's wrong with her mouth, until I just wanna turn it off.
