As a Lover of God, Rumi was and is loved and respected by Christians, Jews, and Musims alike. If you like Rumi or are simply seeking the joy that spirit brings - this audio CD will provide a wonderful addition to your audio library. The poetry translated by Nader Khalili is recited by Qalbi with heartfelt warmth and tenderness. The album "feels" authentic, coming from a genuine "Lover of God." The album is not overproduced and has the textured rough edges enjoyed in casual poetic conversation. The poetry is pure Rumi. Nader Khalili has certainly provided a delightful and distinctive english rendition of Rumi's work. I thoroughly enjoy it and hope you will as well.
