Music Review: No Standup?!?!?!?

I love Rodney Carrington. I've seen him live about 8 times and he is always hilarious. I own all of cd's and they are all hilarious. He is one of the most talented, down to earth, comedians on the planet. His songs are usually o.k. and they complement his stand up act very well, especially live. He is a very good singer. However, this cd just isn't that funny. There is no stand-up comedy and that is where Rodney shines. These aren't even his best songs. You might chuckle at one or two, but that's about it. When I heard there was a new Rodney cd coming out I couldn't wait, but, to say the least, I'm very disappointed.
Description of El Nino Loco
El Nino Loco is the follow-up album to 2007's King of the Mountains, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Comedy chart. El Nino Loco features the video hit "If I'm the Only One," which is also included on the enhanced CD as a bonus item. Ten years after his first major label release, Rodney is still the same regular guy he's always been- sporting his trademark black cowboy hat, boots, and Texas twang. He is the king of middle class comedy and has no plans of changing his regular guy approach. "I have no agenda. I don't want to change anyone's mind on anything.
