Regina Belle shot to fame in 1989 with her single, 'Baby Come To Me' -- from her album "Stay With Me" -- which was a perfect example of the jazz-tinged soul-pop balladry which she had been recording since the mid 1980's.
The title of this 'best of ' collection was also Belle's worldwide hit single. The material featured here has been selected from her Columbia/Sony four studio albums which were recorded between 1987 and 1995.
With her own sophisticated brand of romantic soul, the acclaimed vocalist was one of the most popular contemporary singers of the eighties and nineties.
Once hailed as a female Luther Vandross, or as the less commercial side of Anita Baker, besides soul, her singing has roots in jazz and classic pop and she has Oscar and Grammy awards to her name.
