This 16-track compilation includes most of the late Ray Barretto's huge Fania hits. Undisputed classics like "Oye La Noticia", "Llanto De Cocodrilo", "Guarare", "Prestame Tu Mujer", "Fuerza Gigante" and "El Hijo De Obatala" (among others) are all Salsa standards and the albums on which they appeared originally are all classic masterpieces. This anthology brings all of these hits together in one package (with SUPERB sound quality throughout) but is only for those being introduced to Mr. Barretto's rich Salsa catalog. After getting this CD be sure to also get (and enjoy!) his "Indestructible", "Barretto","Together", "Barretto Power" and "Rican/Struction" CDs to fully appreciate this music's greatness.
