Music Review: Could have been good [BUT DON'T BUY IT]

With all due respect to the other reviewer, let me be clear. DO NOT BUY THIS SET.
Yes, the song selections are good, the artists are amazing, but the company that made this CD did a sloppy job, very sloppy.
Let me just focus on the Sammy Davis tracks. Most of them are taken from Sammy's first album "Starring Sammy Davis Jr.", an amazing piece of work (you should buy it).
But the included tracks on this set don't sound like the originals. They burned the tracks at too fast a speed. A song like "Hey, There!" runs so fast that by the end, the track runs 10 seconds faster than the original.
This speed changes the key of the song and actually makes Sammy's voice squeeky compared to the original.
There are similar problems with many of the Dean tracks and a few of the Frank tracks.
So be warned. If you buy this, you many not know it, but it won't sound right. Pick a different set.
