Music Review: Why the dinky import?

This album was released in 1982 on record. Randy has an "unmistakable" style that is like a "magnetic attraction". At least, that's how I felt when I first played this CD. CD? Yes, in about 2008, the recording went to Japan for it's maiden release on CD. It being such a good album, why was it never released on CD here in the USA? If that wasn't enough, they had to put most of the type in Japanese! I was disappointed when this copy arrived & I had just spent 38 dollars on it. But with some research, I uncovered the musicians by way of a site dedicated to Randy. If you want to buy this CD (& I strongly recommend that you do, it might just be the best $35 you will spend!), then you will need the musicians: Randy, vocals & keys; Steve Khan, guitar; Neil Jason, bass; Jeff Porcaro, drums & percussion; Rob Mounsey, keys; Mary MacGregor, guest vocalist; strings & background vocals (other than Randy) unknown. Note: I really like the siren beginning on "One Step Ahead Of The Bad News". Have fun with this recording.
