Music Review: Hard Rock Live

This may be more familiar to Pretenders fans as "Hard Rock Live". Video quality would best be described as less than average. The picture also includes the logo of a popular music TV network that broadcast the show back in '99. To make matters worse, Immortal has chosen to format the original source as "widescreen" and as a result has produced a distorted picture. 5.1 sound is not a true mix either. I'll give it two stars because anything with Chrissie Hyde deserves nothing less but feel that this is for hardcore fans only.

This exciting set finds the veteran band fronted by Chrissie Hynde, recorded live at Sony Music Studios, New York City on July 6, 1998.
