Music Review: Pink Martini is Fantastic

I love this CD! I am not a musician but can appreciate all the work that went into this music. The music is incredible, the lyrics wonderful and China Forbes voice is flawless! The varied influences and languages make this a great collection.

Sympathique, the band's debut album reveals an incredibly diverse musical vocabulary on the part of frontman Lauderdale. And what singer China Forbes lacks in range and dynamics, she more than compensates for in attack, approach, and a clear understanding of the material.
