Music Review: Phantom is Haunting. A Truly Irresistible Musical Score!

The music from "The Phantom of the Opera" is both haunting and beautiful at once. In the tradition of another Andrew Lloyd Webber classic---CATS---Phantom has a truly irresistible musical score. Once you have heard it you can't get it out of your head. While I have never seen Phantom performed on stage, I am anxious to do so. The voices of Michael Crawford, Sarah Brightman and Steve Barton are a pleasure to the ears. Actually, the entire ensemble comprising the original London cast is extraordinary. Each selection of music is exquisitely orchestrated. Hats off to everyone who played a part in this grand production. May Phantom live on to haunt us for years to come. A true musical masterpiece!
