A very well thought out selection. This compilation is an ideal introduction to the lighter side of Flamenco. It covers a good range of styles from the deliberately stylized cante of Pinto, Marchena and Valderrama, to the unembellished hardcore voices of Porrina de Badajoz and Paquera de Jerez. No contemporary, so-called "Flamenco Nuevo" rip-offs here. This is the real deal.I love it all!
