Music Review: Warpath

An obscure band from somewhere in California (circa 1968-1969), resurrected by well-established German archeologists of "Shadocks Music"*.
Heavy acid rock - top class, with absolutely smashing virtuoso guitar on "A Bikers Tune" - listen, it could easily give a good run for the money to any of "guitar gods" of 80s & 90s - OK, they knew HOW to play, but didn't know WHAT. That's real music - loud, proud, and the guitar really talks...
A true nostalgic trip to raw flesh and dripping blood of psychedelia - that's not some anorexic lifeless stoner of today.
Jon Uzonyi - guitar, vocals; Gary Tsuruda - drums; Rick Abts - keyboards - could be next to the "Doors" on stage.
The engineer: Eric Wangberg (If that's the guy who converted the master tapes to the CD, his name should be in R &R Hall Of Fame).
Great artwork. Notes by Clark Faville are sentimental, but disappointing: when? who? how? Discography (if any?)...
* "Shadocks Music" - a goldmine, whose owners are trying hard to bankrupt me: SuckTime to Suck; The FlowGreatest Hits; San Francisco's ShiverShiver - we can go on almost endlessly
