Music Review: Extremely repetive and a dissapointing follow-up.

To anyone who enjoyed her first album, take care, because you will very likely not enjoy this one. It's an extremely repetitive, and boring romp through the same song after song after song. Each song consists of a base track that plays over and over and the same 3 lines over and over and over. There's no substance to any of them. Her first album was very dynamic and each song was more interesting. Also, where we first album was more folk-poppy sounding, this one is straight up ambient/atmospheric, with hardly anything in the singing department. Hopefully if she makes a third, she learns from her mistakes on this one.

Description of Un Bruit Qui Court
Pauline Croze is a pop/folk artist, often associated with the New French Scene (Nouvelle Sc?ne Fran?aise). She started singing and playing the guitar at the age of 14. In 2003, she appeared in the 'Festival des Transmusicales de Rennes' and was revealed to the public. She has opened for Miossec, Tryo and Cali. Her eponymous first album came out in early 2005.
