Music Review: Perfecto Vegas

The Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, and LCD Soundsystem were my first excursions into electronic/dance music, which I really have enjoyed.
I also have grown to love The Verve after getting their album "Forth", which is trance. The psychedelic feel of this music makes you feel like you are going into a rabbit hole and another world. Even Paul McCartney's recent trance album has breathed life into Paul's music with the The Fireman band.
I truly enjoy both of these genres for long-distance running music.
In light of my music interests, I gave Oakenfold's "Perfecto: Vegas" album a try and absolutely was blown away by it. Wow! This music is an excellent runner's performance improver. The heavy beats, trancing music, and enchanting lyrics lead to many repeat plays on my iPod where I want to pace myself so I don't wear out the novelty of the tunes prematurely. Excellent music! The morphs mixed into this album to change one tune to the next make the morphs on albums like Chris Cornell's "The Scream" album pale in comparison. I can imagine I will be enchanted by the magic of this album for at least a year!
