Music Review: Eclectic & Ecstatic (4.5 Stars)

This is a great soundtrack that really brings the movie's spirit home. It's almost impossible for every song in a compilation like this to be fantastic, and the one that brings this soundtrack down is Sonic's Youth "Superstar," which brings the mood down and throws off the vitality and energy of the rest of the songs.
Parents should be aware that the toe-tapping song in the 8th position prominently features the 'f-bomb.' My wife made me put that in the review!

Juno Was A surprise hit at the box office not only did the movie score big with fans so did the soundtrack during the movie I could not help but realize the music was so engaging for the film, the only song i knew in the movie was buddy holly's dearest. After viewing the end credits to see the rest off the artist the were featured I thought i have to buy this cd's and i did off of amazon. It was the best purchase i have made so far this year.
I would highly recommend for people to buy this soundtrack.
Music Review: Watch out for the song samples included by Amazon

This review will not be in the usual format, since this product has been extensively and very well reviewed by prior reviewers.
Rather, I want to alert Amazon customers that the samples for the short songs (< 1 min) are way too short and insufficient to tell what the song is like.
In particular, Up the Spout is so short that it is impossible to find what part of the song the sample came from.
Even on short songs, a 10-sec sample should be enough without "giving away the house".
Music Review: Soundtracks = Lazy Man's Mixed Tape

I agree with most of the other reviews giving this soundtrack low marks. Not all the songs are great. Better if you've seen and like the movie... etc etc etc. That said, I'm still a sucker for soundtracks because they usually stick to a certain tone that you can match to the mood you are in, but not be stuck with just one artist. And I'll never find the time to make my own mixes, just not a priority.
So, if you're in the right mood for it, this is an OK mixed tape.
Music Review: Great soundtrack!

This is the best movie soundtrack I have heard in a while. Great mix of genres. Most of the songs are upbeat, though there are a couple nice mellow songs as well. Though some of the singers, Moldy Peaches for instance, have somewhat awkward voices, it still sounds good. Whoever picked the songs for this movie did an excellent job because all of them vibe with the film really well. I definitely recommend buying the soundtrack (and the movie when it comes out).
