Music Review: Sooo Glad I Bought This CD

My kids and I watched Shrek the Musical in New York this summer so I knew the quality of music that was on this CD and it delivers. The songs are originals from the play and none are from Shrek the movie. I thought we'd listen to only a few songs out of it, however, my kids and I have listened to this CD in my car so many times that we know all the songs by heart. Some are funny and they are all entertaining. We love it and are sooo glad we bought this CD!!!
Description of Shrek: The Musical
SHREK - the brand new musical comedy, adapted from Dreamworks blockbuster animated films, has knocked Broadway on its ear. Declared a "big fat hit" by USA Today, and "true happiness" by The New York Times, Shrek has a score and book by Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Millie) and Pulitzer prize-winning playwright David Lindsey-Abaire (Rabbit Hole). Dreamworks Studios is the producer of the show and based it on the first chapter of the Shrek movie series. Tony Award nominee Brian d'Arcy James stars as Shrek accompanied by the Tony Award winning actress Sutton Foster as Princess Fiona and Tony Award nominee Daniel Breaker as Donkey.
