Music Review: A must have for chant, trance, or ritual work!

This is one of the few CDs on my list of must haves for chant, trance, or ritual work. The "Ancient Mother" track is the absolute best. With 5 overlaying tracks of the surf, the harp, the most complete goddess name chant I have ever heard (at least 30 names), an ethereal humming and the most powerfully inspirational words: "Ancient mother I hear you calling, Ancient mother I hear your song," this CD is easily worth it just for this one track alone. More than half of the rest of the tracks on this CD may not appeal to "western" ears as this is truly a world view of the Ancient Mother, with singing chanting from African, Indian, and Hawaiian sources.
I am conflicted what to think of the "reclaiming" of the 23rd Psalm. Even though it is beautiful poetry in its own rite, I say leave the patriarchal monotheists liturgy alone so we may come up with our own. Changing the word father to mother everywhere it exists in this poem seems almost like cheating.
