Music Review: BEAUTIFUL CD

I've had this on cassette tape for years and have always loved it. The poetry is lovely in the extreme--as are the readings by Mr Perlman. He has such a beautiful speaking voice that it really adds to the beauty of the classical poetry. Of course it all ties in perfectly with the Beauty and the Beast series that he was involved with in the
80s. Very highly recommended!

I must listen to this at least once a day. I never get tired of it. The music, poetry and Vincent. What else does one need. Anyone who loved the TV show must buy this CD. I actually have the original record album that was produced in 1989 but I bought the CD also. I think I could listen to Vincent read anything. He has such a beautiful voice. Wow...Lee Holdridge & Don Davis know their business!!! I love love love love the music and the voice overs of Ron! The music just carries me away! (This review was written by the daughter of the account owner). The theme song is my absolute favorite! The only con about this CD is that they don't have ALL the music from the series, but otherwise, it's beautiful!Music Review: The poetry is great but kind of hard to hear

The reason I bought this CD was to hear Ron Perlman's unique voice reciting great poetry. For me the BatB soundtrack music was secondary. So I was disappointed that Ron's voice is at such a low volume that it is really hard to hear the poetry. The poetry selections and Ron's delivery are great. This album is one of the best ever released in Beauty and the Beast (the tv series) fandom! The readings are perfect, "that" voice is to die for, and the music is just lovely!
Now if we could only get the entire series released on DVD many would be very happy campers, including me. :-}
