Music Review: ... The Revolution of music...

The CD starts off with the song titled "City on Down" which showcases Jerry with a huge two and a half minute heart thumping solo on the saxophone. The second song "Get Away" is more or less completely different than the studio recorded version. Which I believe is good, because O.A.R.'s live shows are a lot better than their studio shows. The third song "Destination" is a perfect example of their skill of mixing the two styles of music together. The forth song "Conquering Fools" is one of those songs that puts a smile on your face and makes you want to dance and sing very loud. The fifth song "About An Hour Ago" is one of those songs that starts of slow, then you can hear the guitar get louder and then the lyrics are just so fun, it's just amazing that this song was written about an hour before the show, actually. The sixth song is "Black Rock" is very good, because Marc improvises in the later part of the song by making up some addition verses, which gives the song a nice extra bit of power. The seventh song "On Top Of The Cage" showcases Chris Culos's drumming skills and Benj Gershman's bass skills and the beginning of the song that makes you want to start dancing all over again. The eighth song is "She Gone" is one of the songs that you can hear every different talent that every different band member has to offer; also I think Jerry makes this song very special with the saxophone. The last song on disk one "Delicate Few" is one of those type of songs that confuse you the first time you hear it, because it starts of with the famous slow guitar strums, but as the audience builds up singing, the bands gets louder and faster. This song has to be one of my favorite songs.

Then on the start of disk two, they start off with the song "The Wanderer", which is about a man that is wandering to find his soul. I love the song because it has that Jamaican island vibe to the song. The second song is "Hey Girl" which is the best song for a guy to sing or show to a girl. Because this song shows all the good things guys can offer to girls and feelings that guys show to girls. The third song "Anyway" is about all the small things that can actually mean a lot, but not to sweat about the small stuff. The forth song is "Hold on True" which about holding onto all the things that mean a lot to you in life. The fifth song "Night Shift" has to be one of my personal favorites because it starts off with the song Night Shift, but ends with the song "Stir It Up" by Bob Marley, which a guest appearance from Junior Marvin who was in Bob Marley's band and plays along side with O.A.R. The sixth song "About Mr. Brown" is a very emotional song, because it is written about one of the bands friend Michael, who passed away, so the band dedicated this song to him. The seventh song is "That Was a Crazy Game of Poker" which is one of their longest songs. It runs about twelve minutes long and is the song that almost every first time O.A.R. fan hears. They use so many different music styles in this song which makes it phenomenal. The last song, and one of their best songs "I Feel Home" is about their home that they are from Rockville, Maryland. The song is about friends, family, and good times. Which everyone remembers in their life! I definitely give this CD eleven out of ten stars, because they go beyond the call of duty during a live show and it's a one of a kind CD.
