Music Reviews of Y34RZ3R0R3MIX3D / [CD/DVD Combo]Music Review: A great remix of a great album... Rating: 4 Stars
It definitely took Year Zero a few good listens before it really set well with me. The same goes for the latest remix album under Nine Inch Nails titled Y34RZ3R0R3MIX3D. This album not only satisfies the NIN remix fans, but goes beyond that to improving on some of the original tracks in many ways.
A must buy for old and new NIN fans.
Music Review: suckered in again to remixes. Trent Reznor milking his fans. Rating: 3 Stars
Again, Like Nine Inch Nails, and I will still loyaly buy their albums, but this Remix stuff is starting to tick me off. I picked it up thankfully at a good price, but again, no groundbreaking work here. In fact, I think the remixes absolutly destroy the songs of the year zero album. Casual fans, Just buy year zero, save some cash here.
Music Review: Yes, its better than the original.... Rating: 5 Stars
Sorry folks, have to report the truth. Particularly on tracks like "The Great Destroyer", which sound here like what the original should sound like. It just sounds deeper, more cohesive, and is a better album. I know people hate to hear it, but the remix album has surpassed the original here, sorry.
Music Review: Great music - awesome fun remixing in Reaper Rating: 5 Stars
Nine Inch Nails have been doing high quality music for a long time. They have always been innovative in their approach. Publishing the source files for other musicians to remix is just another example of the forward thinking and experimetal attitude of this band. Great stuff guys! Luv ya work!
Music Review: great album Rating: 5 Stars
This is the best remix album ever put out by Nine Inch Nails. There a few songs that I like better than the originals. The first five tracks are exceptionally strong, and Saul Williams is great in Gunshots By Computer.
