Music Review: Reminds me of Van Halen in the David Lee Roth days

This is my favorite Nickelback album. I own 4 albums, and they are all a little different from eachother, clearly showing how outside influences affected the songwriting. 20 years ago I was an avid Van Halen fan, and owned several albums of the David Lee Roth era. The changes in style on each Van Halen album were similar to the changes in style on each Nickelback CD. You can tell the band members were in certain stages of their lives from the flavors of the albums. I love this NB CD because it speaks to my inner crazy 17-year-old. "Photograph" brings me back to my glory days every single time I listen to it. "Animals" makes me want to have sex with my husband in the back seat, if we were limber enough anymore! The ballads are sexy and sweet, and the harder music plucks every uninhibited impulse in my brain. I would love to see Nickelback in concert. Waiting for "the next go round" of tours!
