Music Review: Just one correction

All these reviews tell the story true: this is a great album, in my opinion, the last great album that Mountain recorded. The live concert on side two is absolutely hypnotic, the orchestration of "Dream Sequence" is as good as rock music gets. But side two was not "recorded at the Fillmore East in 1971" as written on the album. Mountain only played once in 1971 at the Fillmore, early in April. These songs did not even exist yet at that time. This was in fact recorded on October 10th, 1971, at the Woods-Brown Amphitheatre of American University, Washington DC, outdoors. I know because not only was I there (with 8 fellow musicians), but we sat by the sound board and observed the show being recorded. Every detail we heard live, is on Flowers Of Evil, side two. Mountain never played anything the same twice, and this is the show we saw in Washington, DC. The acoustics were perfect, the audience was stone silent in awe.
The only live Mountain that can touch this is an out-of-print 2-disc bootleg of the Dec. 28th 1970 Fillmore show titled "Millenium Collection". This is live Mountain at their best. This is what they really sounded like in person at their peak.
